More Details On The Delany Facility, The Controversial ICE Detention Center
According to Burns-Tucker, Representative McIver and three of her colleagues were at the Delaney Facility in Newark, New Jersey, on May 9. The tour was reportedly conducted because the congresspeople believed the facility’s paperwork and permits were improper. And therefore did not permit the operation of the facility. In addition, the facility not having proper paperwork, there have also been rumors about those detained in the facility not receiving due process, Burns-Tucker said.
