The internet is sending Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus love and prayers after she confirmed the passing of her daughter Codi Dreaux, whom she shares with her fianc Wayne Deuce. The couple shared the heartbreaking news on social media with emotional messages and sweet photos of their baby girl.
On Saturday, Cori Broadus shocked fans when she confirmed the passing of her daughter Codi Dreaux. She shared a photo of herself holding Codi on her Instagram Story and told fans she passed away on Monday, January 26. “Monday, I lost the love of my life Codi,” the first time mom wrote alongside a pair of angel wings.
In another post, Cori reshared photos she originally posted on Jan. 6 to her Instagram Story. The images show Cori lying bed with Codi and appeared to capture a moment after she finally came home following six months in the NICU due to her premature birth. “20 days later?! dawg im sick,” Cori added.
Cori Broadus’ fianc, Wayne Deuce, also reacted to the tragic loss of their daughter. He shared a photo of himself holding Codi and looking down at her with the caption, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” Wayne wrote.
Shortly after Cori confirmed the passing of Codi, Snoop dropped a heartfelt post and message on Instagram. The rapper made it clear to fans that he was covering his baby girl with love during this tough time, sharing a photo of him standing behind Cori, while her two brothers Cordell and Corde stand on the side of her. Snoop captioned the image with a sparkling pink heart and prayer hands. See the photo here.
Cori’s brother Cordell Broadus also took to his own Instagram Story, posting the same family photo as Snoop with the caption, “Lil sis we got you forever.”
Cori Broadus announced the arrival of her daughter in a sweet Instagram post in February 2025 telling her followers that she arrived six months early. Codi was Cori and Wayne’s first child together. In September, she gave fans a glimpse of Codi and shared that her baby girl had remained in the NICU for over six months due to her premature birth.
The way Ive been here going through it. Its such an emotional roller coaster. But like I said, its nothing that God gives us that we cant handle, And when we come in here, we try to make sure that our love is bigger than the wires and the tubes and the machines and just staying strong for our Codi Dreaux,” Cori said in the clip.
