Cuba Gooding Jr. Accused Of Raping A Woman In His New York City Hotel Room Back In 2013

It looks like the list of accusations against Cuba Gooding Jr. keeps on piling up, and according to a new lawsuit, the actor is now being sued for allegedly raping a woman in his New York City hotel room back in 2013.

According to Variety, the civil suit was filed on Tuesday, and the unidentified woman claims the alleged incident took place in Cuba’s hotel room in New York City after the two of them met at a Greenwich Village lounge.

He reportedly invited the woman and her friend back to the Mercer Hotel in SoHo for some for drinks. He then reportedly asked her up to his room as he prepared to change his clothing. The lawsuit continues to state that the woman insisted on leaving the room and meeting her friend downstairs once he started to take his clothes off.

He then allegedly blocked her from leaving the room and pushed her on the bed and began to touch her body inappropriately without her permission.

The lawsuit reads, “Plaintiff was wearing a halter top dress that evening. Defendant finished taking off his clothes (he was now completely naked) and forcibly and without consent put one hand in her halter top to touch the Plaintiff’s breasts and one hand up her dress.”

Cuba’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller, responded to the allegations and said to Variety, “We never received the complaint, but the allegations are completely false and perjurious. The contentions that he acted inappropriately in the complaint are completely inappropriate and untruthful.”

The lawsuit continued to allege that he raped the woman both vaginally and anally.

The woman is suing for a “crime of violence” and seeking a jury trial, as well as unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.

Cuba has already faced previous allegations that stem from 2018. He is already facing six counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching, as he was accused of groping three different women. Last year he plead not guilty to the allegations.

As we previously reported, Cuba recently appeared in court where his lawyer, Peter Toumbekis, raised the idea that a woman’s insecurity about having small breasts can directly impact how she views reality, especially in relation to sexual assault.
