New information about Da Baby’s recent run-in with law enforcement has become available. As we previously reported, he was detained by police in a robbery investigation, and now more details have been revealed.
According to TMZ, Baby was officially arrested late Thursday for battery in connection to the robbery investigation, and his bond was set at $1,500. The site also obtained the police report, and according to the report, Da Baby allegedly robbed the victim, who is a concert promoter, of $80, a credit card, and then doused him with apple juice.
According to the police report, the promoter handed Da Baby $20,000, however, Da Baby said he was owed $30,000 for a concert he was reportedly supposed to perform at on Thursday. The report also says a second victim was punched in the face.
As we previously reported, there was a video that showed Da Baby placed in handcuffs by police, and shortly after a video of the alleged robbery surfaced as well.
Da Baby recently had a run-in with police in his hometown of Charlotte, NC where he accused the local authorities of constantly harassing him. He later took to his Instagram to detail everything after he was released and also provided a video of the police looking inside his vehicle while he performed at a show.
