Earlier this week, a video of #DamonDash pulling up on #LeeDaniels at the Hollywood Bowl went viral!
In the clip, Dash was allegedly confronting the director about details of their $25 million lawsuit from back in 2014 where he had allegedly loaned Daniels $2 million in exchange for the rights to certain films and tv shows such as ‘The Butler,’ ‘Empire’ and ‘Precious.’ Daniels looks very uncomfortable in the exchange as Dash was allegedly threatening to go public with the lawsuit unless he pays up.
Wellllll, he doesn’t have to do that anymore, because according to documents obtained by @Blast, Dash has filed a lawsuit for $5 million for breach of contract. In addition to the aforementioned, he was supposed to receive a co-executive producing credit on the upcoming #RichardPryor project as well as 5% of profits Daniels would make on the backend.
Dash feels that by Daniels allegedly withholding production details as well as the general progress of the film from him, this is in line with the breach of contract.
