Damon Wayans Spills On Stealing His Nephew’s Boo During Interview With Shannon Sharpe
Damon Wayans really dropped a bomb by spilling all this WILD tea. He recalled a time back in the day when he swapped leftovers with his nephew — and yes, he meant that kind of leftovers. However, he never shared which nephew it was. When Shannon Sharpe asked if they really kept it in the family, Damon didn’t hold back, saying that he was actually the one who fell “in love” with her.
Damon stood ten downs on what he said too. He claimed it wasn’t that deep since his nephew and the woman weren’t in love. He also added that this all went down back in the early 2000s, after his divorce. According to the ‘In Living Color’ star, the dating pool in Cali is small, so he saw no issue. “I got divorced and I was by myself for two years. And then I saw her, and I was like, ‘I’m in love,'” Damon Wayans told Shannon Sharpe.
Both Damon and the woman knew exactly what they were getting into before making it official. Additionally, he admitted that family gatherings were definitely awkward and everybody clowned. While Shannon Sharpe told him he could never do that, Damon joked, “Nah, if you’ve seen her, you would understand.”

Damon Shares His Thoughts On Marriage
The actor didn’t just spill on his dating life — he also talked about his marriage to Lisa Thorner. He told Shannon they had been together for 19 years before calling it quits and getting a divorce. Even after the split, he made it clear they are still cool today, noting that she still comes to family gatherings. Despite things not working out between them, he still looks at marriage as a beautiful thing, he just thinks he wasn’t mature enough to handle it when they were together.
“I think marriage is a beautiful arrangement. I was just too young and dumb to know that back then,” Damon explained.
