Social media users are sending prayers to Buju Banton after he confirmed that his 20-year-old son, Miles Myrie, has passed away.
Buju Banton Reveals The Passing Of His Son Miles Myrie
According to the Jamaica Observer, Jahazeil, Myrie’s brother, revealed his passing to the outlet on Monday, April 1.
“Yes it is true,” Jahazeil explained. “It is not my thing to say, it is not my job personally to give out any personal information about Miles, my father is the one who should share any details, but Miles is an hortical [genuine] yute, his soul was clean, so I had to say something.”
Jahazeil explained that his brother was living in the United States at the time of his passing. However, he did not share the cause of his brother’s death.
Then, on Thursday, April 4, Banton took to Instagram to share a photo of Miles with a caption confirming his death.
“Sip papa God knows,” Banton wrote.

Bandman Kevo spoke exclusively toThe Shade Room about the passing of his 15-year-old son, Kevian, earlier this month. The rapper first revealed the news via X, formerly known as Twitter, on March 31.
“Rip Kevian,” he wrote.
While speaking with The Shade Room, Kevo explained that he had yet to get in touch with his son’s mother.
