Roommates, get into this update! Daphne Joy quickly pivoted from sharing her heartbreak over an intimate tape leak to showing off her bare cheeks and chattin’ about “size.”
Stop WHOSE bag? Not Daphne’s! Within a day of addressing a sex tape leak, Daphne Joy was back on the ‘gram, teasing a Q&A and showing off her curves. She first posted the Q&A prompt on Instagram Stories and soon after picked one question to reshare on Stories and on her feed. The question was, “Does size really matter?”She didn’t answer the question, but revealed that she had hand-picked it. “Question numero uno” is the last thing she said in the short video.
About two hours after teasing the Q&A, Daphne Joy circled back to her IG feed with a new reel. In the clip, set to Mariah Carey’s song ‘Obsessed,’ she’s wearing white lingerie and nude heels. The bottoms were a thong that cupped and showed off her bare cheeks. She started the clip with a walk-away view from behind. Other clips within the video show her gazing at the camera, playing with her hair, sitting with her back arched on a piece of furniture, swinging her hips from side to side and running a rose down her chest and up her leg.
Early Monday, Daphne Joy addressed the circulating footage that allegedly shows her, Diddy and a male escort known as Sly Diggler engaging in sexual activity. Her statement was first shared on IG Stories, but later removed. In it, she clarified that she did not give consent to be filmed when the encounter happened. Additionally, she claimed one of the men in the video had previously tried to blackmail her, but failed. “…Even though years later…it’s come back to haunt me again,” Joy wrote.
Additionally, she explained that it took her all day to find the courage to rewatch her abuse. Watching the tape felt painful and triggering. “My heart is breaking as I type this,”Joy added.
“I wish so many things were different but I can’t take back the hands of time. I can only continue to move forward and slowly learn to love and trust myself again. I want to love and protect myself so much that I’ll never come across such a harmful environment again. This is the first time that I have ever felt a part of my own body and that my body belongs to me. I am precious, I am special, I am worthy. This I promise to hold true in my heart for the woman I am becoming and for the woman I once lost.”
Collectively on Daphne Joy’s Instagram feed, the Q&A and sexy teaser clips got over 31,000 likes and more than 3,679 comments. And the feedback is mixed! While some are praising her ability to push past the criticism, others are comparing her internet behavior to her statement about the leaked tape.
