DDG and Halle Bailey might just be co-parenting these days, but he’s still rooting for her heavy! He recently said he lowkey wished she would’ve popped out in a new movie that just dropped because he knows she would’ve ate the role up.

DDG Wishes Halle Bailey Popped Up In THIS Movie

In a video LiveBitez dropped, DDG told viewers on a recent stream he wished Halle Bailey made an appearance in ‘Sinners.’ He admitted that he thinks she would’ve been a great addition to the cast and the film.

“You know who I think should’ve been in that movie? I think Halle should’ve been in that movie. I wish she would’ve got that. When I was watching I was like damn man, she would be good in this movie,” DDG said.

The rapper continued to keep it real, saying that seeing Halle in movies like ‘The Color Purple’ probably made him want to see her in ‘Sinners’ too.

“Maybe cause I seen her in ‘Color Purple’ that’s why I thought that, cause I was like damn. Cause it was a lot of singing and s**t, I was like she would’ve been perfect in that movie.”

DDG’s heartfelt message about Halle comes after he previously vented about his frustrations with trying to see Halo. Roomies, if y’all recall back in March, DDG said he tried to visit Halo while he was sick, but he was allegedly asked to leave. After that, he told fans that he wasn’t planning on taking her to court over visitation.

And then the judge be like, Oh n***a we see you a great a** dad, we never see this with Black folks. This is a rarity. Give this n***a the whole summer, now what? We dont need that when we could just be like, Alright, cool, everything smooth, everything cool. Thats the reason why I dont want to go to court. It is what it is, man,DDG explained.

Despite DDG’s comments, he ended up reuniting with Halo on a livestream and of course, they went viral with some funny moments.

Where is Halle in all of this? Sis has been quiet when it comes to DDG, but she lowkey popped out in March with a lil’ update. She slid on X (formerly Twitter) with a selfie and dropped a caption that gave fans a glimpse into how she’s really feeling. Halle wrote, “because I’m happyyy.”
