The ongoing custody battle between DDG and Halle Bailey is bringing family into the feud! Surfaced documents show that his mother, Tonya Granberry, reportedly spoke about Bailey’s behavior towards the streamer. DDG’s Mom, Tonya Granberry, Steps In
Tonya Granberry has added another layer to a situation seemingly filled with serious claims, emotional tension, and legal drama. According to court documents, DDG submitted images showing that Halle allegedly used multiple hidden AirTags to track his movements.
In her declaration, Tonya apparently identified four AirTags that were secretly placed in DDG’s car and home. According to reports, the first AirTag was discovered in June 2023 in DDG’s Maybach. Furthermore, Tonya claims it was discovered after Halle reportedly showed up uninvited to the movie theater as DDG was with a female friend. Tonya also claimed that Halle made threats to “f**k [DDG] up” and attempted to physically fight the woman DDG was out with. Tonya alleged in her declaration that she intervened to de-escalate the situation.
DDG Files Restraining Order Against Halle, Her Lawyer Reacts
As previously reported by The Shade Room, DDG has filed for a restraining order against Bailey, citing concerns for his and their son Halo’s safety. He alleged that Bailey has exhibited troubling behavior, including taking his gun during a domestic altercation and sending alarming messages threatening self-harm. The streamer is now seeking sole legal and physical custody of Halo. And, he requested that a third party supervise any future custody exchanges.
DDG’s lawyer, Larry Bakman, backed up his client. He reportedly said Halle isn’t trustworthy to care for Halo amid the allegations against her.
Meanwhile, Terry Levich Ross, an attorney for Bailey, cited DDG’s claims as “inaccurate,” per Billboard. Furthermore, a judge could issue a decision on Bailey’s upcoming travel plans by the end of the week. And, a full hearing has been set for June 24 to explore the ex-couple’s competing petitions.
This Isn’t The First Time Tonya Has Spoken
Last month, in court documents, Halle accused DDG of physical and emotional abuse. In a restraining order filed, she cited an incident where he allegedly slammed her face into a steering wheel, causing a chipped tooth. Halle also sought a temporary restraining order against DDG, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from her and their son.
In response to the allegations against her son, Tonya released a statement saying,
“I don’t usually comment or say anything on this internet even with all the negativity, the lies, and hatred toward mine. However, these accusations have made me realize that I have been quiet too long.”
