DDG responded after a viral clip of a man approaching his sister, TeeTee, at Rolling Loud left mixed reactions on the net!
On Saturday, March 15, DDGs sister, PontiacMadeTee, attended Rolling Loud California with Brooklyn Frost and Kai Cenats girlfriend, Gabrielle Alayah, aka Gigi. The three friends were streaming their festival experience when a random man approached TeeTee and commented on her appearance and outfit.
The clip quickly spread across social media, with many users not here for how Brooklyn and Gigi laughed during the interaction.
While on stream, DDG reacted to the viral moment, saying, *If I was there, I wouldve checked dogs chin so quick.* He went on to say he would crash out over his little sister after his chat called cap.
DDG wasnt the only one with something to say about the situation. Their older brother, DuB, and TeeTees boyfriend, Aries, also addressed the incident during a stream.
While some social media users called out the mans comments toward TeeTee, others were more focused on her friends reactions. The TeaMates shared their thoughts in The Shade Room Teens comment section.
Instagram user @is.daylin wrote, “The laughing only encouraged him to keep going. I get itthey laugh at everything, and thats cool, but at this big age, READ THE ROOM. Your friend is uncomfortable, and rightfully so. You aint gotta act like you gon beat the man, but grab her and remove her from that uncomfortable situation, make sure she good, and yall can laugh about it later. Just my opinion though.”
Meanwhile Instagram user @rated.maya_ wrote,“Yall always tryna pick apart someones friendship. Me and my friends laugh at anything!!! Im 100% certain if his tone and attitude in any way were disrespectful, they wouldve stepped in. Like omg, yall swear it be lowkey shade or animosity in friendships that yall are seeing THROUGH A SCREEN. Mind yall damn business sometimes.”
Instagram user @lizkartier added, “No shade if some guy was coming at my homegirl for one second, I was never letting that slide…”
TeeTees brother, DuB, also stepped into The Shade Rooms comments with a message.
He wrote: “@lassigjr my brother, I need to see you TODAY. I feel disrespected. Yo DMs dont work, so I woulda did it privately, but you gon see this mention Im highly sure.”
The day after the Rolling Loud incident, TeeTee took to Instagram to post pictures of the outfit that had social media talking.
She stepped out in a double-denim fit, rocking a denim jacket with a cheetah handprint design on the back, studded denim shorts, a short hairstyle, yellow sunglasses, and Timberlands.
Her caption read: “90s fine Custom outfit by me ”
Her comment section quickly filled with love, with social media users hyping her up despite the viral drama.
