Deion Sanders is sharing his thoughts and reactions after his daughter, Deiondra, recently revealed her pregnancy.

Deion Sanders Speaks On Becoming A First-Time Grandpa
On Wednesday, April 10, PEOPLE published their exclusive interview with Sanders. During the conversation, the 56-year-old shared how he feels about recently learning that he’s becoming a first-time grandpa.
“I haven’t digested that whole thing yet,” he explained.
From there, Sanders went on to share what he’s most proud of regarding his daughter and her pregnancy.
“I’m proud of my baby that she’s at least waited until her thirties to give me this gift of life,” he explained.
Furthermore, Sanders explained what remains his biggest concern as his daughter ventures into the journey of motherhood.
“I’m happy about that, but I want to make sure she’s straight emotionally and psychologically as well,” he added.
A Brief Recap Of Deiondra Sanders’ Pregnancy Reveal
As The Shade Room previously reported, Deiondra Sanders revealed her pregnancy on March 8. At the time, Sanders shared a video that initially showed a visit with her doctor.
During their conversation, the medical professional informed Sanders it would be difficult for her to conceive a child due to her battle with fibroids. Additionally, the doctor revealed that if she were able to conceive a child, her pregnancy would be high risk.
As the clip continued, Sanders reappeared in a white dress and cradled her stomach. She also shared a sentimental message, revealing her pregnancy.
“I never thought I’d be here but here we are,” she wrote. “I know a lot has transpired over the last month but what hasn’t happened is me being able to tell my own truth myself! So here it is… Even though this was not planned nor expected, this is still something God allowed to happen… I’m having this baby to give hope to all the other women that may be in my situation. No matter what Doctor’s say, GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY! The miracle growing in me is not just a coincidence but a divine blessing. Welcome to my pregnancy journey.”
The Father Of The 31-Year-Old’s Child Has Also Been Revealed
Later that day, Jacquees entered Sanders’ comment section and shared his love for the expecting mother.
“I love you and I got you. BLESSINGS OTW 🙏🏾❤️ THANK YOU JESUSSSS 💯❤️,” he wrote, per The Shade Room.
Initially, it appeared unclear whether Jacquees was the father of Sander’s first child. However, the singer later confirmed the speculation with his own Instagram post, where he referred to Sanders as his “future baby mama.”
Most recently, on April 10, Jacquees took to Instagram to share an update on his and Sander’s pregnancy. The singer shared a photo of him and Sanders alongside pictures of their recent ultrasound.
