Everything that’s done in the dark eventually comes to light! Last week blogger Tasha K broke the story that self-proclaimed relationship expert Derrick Jaxn cheated on his wife. After denying allegations yesterday today, he decided to have a change of heart. In a video seated next to his wife Da’Naia Jackson, and holding hands, he confirmed that he did previously cheat on his wife.
Derrick said that he was involved with other women and made it clear what that meant. He explained,” I want to be clear im not talking about just casually kicking it, maybe a lunch or something like that. I’m talking about as serious as sex, sexual flirtation, and meeting up and those type of things.” He advised that his behavior fell under the umbrella of being inappropriate, cheating, having an affair, stepping out, and was definitely not aligned with the vowels that he took or the biblical standard of what it means to be faithful.
He continued saying that he felt the need to share this publicly with his followers because he had already had the conversation about his infidelities with his wife. “It’s important that I let you know I don’t stand by those actions, ” Derrick said. “I don’t want to encourage anybody to do that. Secondly, I know I can’t build a platform preaching certain things, preaching against certain things, and then in my real life live contrary to that.”

During the video, he also said that he deserves to be accountable for his actions and everyone else. While it was great that Derrick lived in his truth, many Roommates felt sympathy for his wife and commented on her body language through the video. One commented, “Sis is checked out, and it’s sad.” Another commented, “This is the most he’s ever even acknowledged her presence. Sis has on a bonnet and looks very bothered!! Sad! Smh.”
Let’s hope Derrick and Da’Naia can work through their marital issues.
