Alright now! Desmond Scott has the internet paying attention after sharing a glimpse into his current mindset. But, he didn’t say much at all. Instead of long captions or explanations, Desmond let his actions do the talking on where his focus is these days. And of course, social media had plenty to say about what the moment might mean.

Desmond Scott In His Gym Era
On Thursday, Desmond Scott took to his Instagram Story to post a quick workout clip from the gym. In the video, he’s seen on a treadmill moving at a steady pace, rocking a black baseball cap with white lettering. He’s also wearing a plain black T-shirt, gray basketball shorts, white ankle socks, and gray sneakers. With AirPods in, Desmond pointed the camera toward a mirror as he got his steps in—keeping things lowkey while clearly locked in on himself and his routine. Over the video, he added the text “Working on me rn,” making it clear that his focus right now is all about leveling up and putting himself first.

He also made it clear by letting followers know their messages didn’t go unnoticed. “I’ve read every message and y’all have no idea how much ya boy love y’all,” he wrote in the comments. He also cosigned a fan who challenged him to “be better” during this reset, and even exchanged supportive words with Kevin Gates. The rapper offered advice from one formerly divorced man to another—further signaling that Desmond is leaning into growth.
The Kiss That Broke The Internet
The social media star has been making headlines nonstop, and last week was no different. As previously reported, TMZ identified Marissa Springer as the 24-year-old woman Desmond was seen kissing in a Houston bar, a moment that quickly went viral across social media. Not long after, Marissa stepped forward, confirming she was the mystery blonde in the video. However, she denied being the woman involved in the alleged affair that led Kristy Scott to file for divorce.
While Kristy Scott publicly revealed the infidelity in her divorce petition, she did not disclose the identity of Desmond’s alleged affair partner or provide specific details about the cheating. What she did make clear, however, was that the marriage is beyond repair. Meanwhile, Marissa claimed in a video statement that the ink is already “dry” on Desmond’s divorce, despite reports suggesting there are still unresolved agreements regarding their two sons and shared properties.
