More Details About The Upcoming Memorial Services For Angie Stone

According to TMZ, multiple memorial services have reportedly been scheduled to celebrate the life of Angie Stone. Additionally, the outlet notes that both celebrations will be star-studded.

Per the outlet, on Friday, March 14, Stone will be celebrated with a public event in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, on Saturday, March 15, Stone will be honored with a more intimate ceremony in Columbia, South Carolina.

Furthermore, the outlet reports that Tyler Perry, Kirk Franklin, Anthony Hamilton, Keke Wyatt, Tamela Mann, Musiq Soulchild, and other celebrities are expected to attend either ceremony. Furthermore, in addition to attending, some of the celebs are expected to either speak or perform in tribute to Stone.

More Details On How The Singer Passed

As The Shade Room previously reported, Stone passed away during the early hours of March 1. Subsequently, it was revealed that Stone’s sprinter van “overturned” while she was traveling with eight others. After the van overturned, it was reportedly hit by a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia truck.

Furthermore, Stone was the only one who passed away following the crash.

Angie Stone’s Family Recently Issued A Statement About Her Passing

By March 3, Angie Stone’s family released a statement addressing her passing and paying tribute to her life, per The Shade Room. In the statement, the family referred to the fatal event as an “extremely difficult time,” adding that Stone was a positive example for “Black women and girls everywhere.”

To date, the investigation into the cause of the fatal car crash reportedly remains ongoing.
