Detroit Woman Claims Her Porch Was Stolen (Video)

Talk about a literal porch pirate! One of our Detroit Roommates reached out to us to tell us that of all things that can be stolen, she claims someone literally took her front porch from her home!

As you can imagine, our good sis was hot when she made the discovery but feels this is truly only something that could happen in the D. India Gardner says she was working at the Chrysler plant where she builds trucks when a thief really came up with her whole front steps.

When she returned home from work, she says she was in a state of disbelief. She plans on filing a police report for the unimaginable.

“I was at work, came home, went to the front porch literally tripped before I realized what had happened,” India tells us. “…Whoever has my porch took my railings with it.”

She had no such luck on getting any description of the burglar from her neighbors and isn’t sure when exactly the porch was taken.

Despite the initial shock, all India says she can do is laugh about the situation.

“I didn’t know I would be buying a porch you know,” she said. “It’s funny but it’s not lol. I’m laughing but I’m pissed lol.”

When people didn’t believe her ridiculous story, India decided to film the scene to show everyone she was not playing. You can watch her video below:

Though she claims there was nothing wrong with her porch, she did say she intended on painting it but now it appears she has bigger problems, like figuring out how to get in and out of her home, as the side door isn’t an ideal option.

She also has a message for the person who did this:

“Please let whoever know that was not nice and I would like my porch back,” India said.

We’ll keep you posted on this wild story.
