Here’s What Happened During Week 2 Of The Diddy Trial
TSR’s trial reporters, Brianne Deville and Saran Tarawaley, returned to chat with Carter about the week. Per the pair, notable testimonies included former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard and Cassie’s mom, Regina Ventura, who alleged Diddy demanded $20,000 from her. This reportedly led to her taking out a home equity loan. However, when she allegedly gave the money to Diddy, it was reportedly inconspicuously returned. As for the items confiscated from Diddy’s home, these included baby oil, Astroglide, drugs, stripper heels, and more. Additionally, photos were shown of Kid Cudi‘s arsoned Porsche!
The evidence has been jaw-dropping. However, per Carter, some are still wondering when the state will present the evidence to prove the sex trafficking allegations against Diddy.
Here’s How The Defense Team Has Poked Holes In The State’s Case
Forensic psychologist Dawn Hughes was called to the stand in the latter half of the week. Hughes testified that abuse victims experience lapses in their memories due to coping with traumatic events. Nonetheless, Hughes spoke to abuse victims being credible witnesses in their cases. Afterward, the defense poked holes in Hughes’ testimony. The team argued that Hughes isn’t familiar with the ongoing case. Additionally, they argued that Hughes reportedly has never testified on behalf of a male accused of sexual assault.
