DJ Akademiks is retracting his words after a viral back-and-forth with rapper Yung Miami. The 31-year-old media host is now saying that he was wrong for referring to the City Girl rapper as Diddy’s “side chick,” during a recent live stream.
I’m not no player hater. I love you, so I’m just going to fall back out of this one… Yo Diddy, she been reading comments, Diddy. I don’t know what to do. She been reading comments now, she on everybody head — it’s not only me. Like, she a queen, I love her. She not no side chick no more.
Akademiks goes on to add that Diddy even seemed to throw out a threat in defense of Yung Miami.

Diddy quickly changed the mind of DJ Akademiks when he took to Twitter on Tuesday to share his thoughts on the matter.

Ak & Yung Miami’s Internet Beef
Akademiks found himself entangled in a back-and-forth with Yung Miami after he reacted to Diddy’s announcement about the birth of his seventh child. According to TMZ, Diddy shares the newborn baby with a woman named Dana Tran.

Yung Miami also reacted to the announcement, as reported by The Shade Room. But instead of showing shock, the 28-year-old rapper told the public to keep her name and the title of “side chick” far away from one another.

The rapper continued her rant.
