2016 has clearly been the Year of the Internet Rap Beef. If you recall, back in August, DJ Funk Flex and Drake became “enemies” when the Hot 97 DJ began to expose the rapper for not writing his own music. That’s when Drizzy took a jab at Flex during one of his Summer Sixteen tour stops and said “You see they telling lies on Hot 97 that’s how it goes / I told ‘em fire Funk Flex and then I’ll come and do your show.”
Well, Drake still hasn’t come to do the show, nor has he stepped foot in Brooklyn, according to Flex which is why he’s still showing his disapproval for the rapper. During his set the other night, while playing “Litty” by Drake’s arch nemeses, Meek Mill and Tory Lanez, he proceeds to say, “Fuck Drake. That Internet shit, he don’t give a fuck. He don’t come to Brooklyn, not at all.” To add insult to injury, Tory was in the club that night to!
