Do you guys remember back in July when DMX was charged with 14 counts of tax evasion? Uncle Sam claims X was in the red $1.7 million. He was released on bail and was given specific instructions to notify the judge if he had plans to leave New York.
According to TMZ, he made a trip to visit his family in St. Louis and for whatever reason did not make that call.
His lawyer said he forgot, seeing as how he had his travel plans to worry about and he has never missed a call before. They’re hoping the judge shows love and gives them a pass on this slip up.
We won’t know how that cookie crumbles until X appears in court later this week.
