Earlier this week, shots were reported on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
A surveillance camera caught what looked like a shooting that was intended for a specific person but unfortunately caught three innocent people in its crosshairs.
One of the people hit was 19-year-old Juayne Jones. Jones says he dropped to the ground while the gun fire took place. When it was all over, Jones thought he was only grazed on the ear by a bullet and declined medical attention.
Days later, Jones was complaining of a bad headache and decided to go to the emergency room. There, doctors found out that the causes of his headaches were bullet fragments that were lodged in his head. Doctors say the injuries are not life threatening but Jones should still seek further medical attention.
The incident took place on Monday, Feb. 23. The SUV used in the incident was found but no other leads have been reported. A $10,500 reward is being offered to anyone who leads to the apprehension of the assailants.
