Domino’s Is Offering $30 An Hour To Taste Test New Garlic Bread!

Roommates, money and carbs are the most common guilty pleasures, and #Dominos is giving you the chance to have both. The pizza chain is now offering to pay customers to taste test a potential new menu item.

According to CNN, Dominos posted a job opening on LinkedIn, in search of people to spend a day taste-testing its new garlic bread at the Domino’s regional headquarters in Australia. The job is offering $30 an hour for the full 7.5 hour day, and includes a pizza lunch.

The company is also offering to pay for a hotel and flight if you are chosen for the job and do not live in the area.

It may seem like easy money, but Dominos has very specific requirements in order to fill the position.

“The ideal candidate never met a carb they didn’t like, does not identify as a vampire, understand the perfect crunch to softness ratio, and is passionate about food, innovation and having fun,” the opening lists.

The listing is also asking for a minimum of 5 years experience in “garlic bread consumption, “has a detailed understanding of the pizza and garlic bread relationship, has woking taste buds, has burned their fingers at least once to being able to wait for the garlic bread to cool down, and has a history of reviewing other people’s food choices.”

The application process is very straightforward as well. The company is asking applicants to complete a survey and to explain why one is the perfect applicant for the job in 200 words or in a 30 second video.

This may seem like an unconventional method to food marketing, but Domino’s is not new to this! Previously, the company unveiled a delivery robot with hidden hot and cold compartments, as well as a delivery drone.
