Trump Comes For Taylor Swift
Donald Trump’s twitter account seemingly woke up and chose violence on Sunday morning, posting a message about Taylor Swift on ‘Truth Social.’
The former president took the social media platform writing, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
Trump’s comments come after Swift publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz. The pop star’s support for the Democrats followed the first presidential debate between Trump and VP Harris on Tuesday, (Sept. 10) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Here’s What Taylor Swift Said Ahead Of The 2024 Presidential Election
Shortly after the first presidential debate aired on (Sept. 10), Taylor Swift took to Instagram to share a lengthy message. The ‘Shake it Off’ singer encouraged her fans to research the issues and understand the positions of both Trump and Harris.
Swift revealed that Trump’s false claims, amplified by AI, about her support for him prompted her to clarify her actual voting plans for the 2024 election.
Taylor then went on to confirm her endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,” Swift wrote.
The Guardian reports that Taylor spoke about the election during her appearance at MTV’s 2024 Video Music Awards (VMAs) on (Sept. 11). The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer urged fans and the audience aged 18 and older to register to vote.
