Donald Trump has caused quite a stir on social media after the White House took to Instagram this week. In the now-viral clip, footage of the President arriving at the NATO Summit in the Netherlands is seen. However, the thing that has social media gagging is Trumps use of Ushers hit song, Hey Daddy (Daddys Home).’ The track is heard in the background, along with a caption that quotes the singers lyrics. The viral video came just hours after Trump was referred to as Daddy by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Heres the lowdown
On Wednesday, June 25, the White House Instagram page shared a clip showing Trump disembarking from Air Force One. Hes seen greeting people as he gets off the aircraft and heads to the summit. The President is then seen engaging in conversations with other world leaders at the event, all while Mr. Raymonds song is played.
Additionally, footage was paired with a caption that echoed the songs bold vibe, leaving social media users both amused and some of them confused.
Daddys home Hey, hey, hey, Daddy, the caption read, quoting lyrics from Ushers song. President Donald J. Trump attended the NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands.
The Roomies were debating in the comments section. Over in The Shade Rooms post, many were gagging at the bold song choice alone. Peep their reactions below

Also on Wednesday, June 25, Rutte had social media shook when he called Trump Daddy during a press conference at the summit. In the viral clip that has since exploded online, Rutte dropped the nickname while defending Trump. This came following the President’s explicit language about Israel and Iran breaking a ceasefire he helped broker.
Trump had compared the two countries to kids in a schoolyard fighting. He previously said they dont know what the f*** theyre doing. Rutte, trying to keep it cute, chimed in at the conference, saying, Daddy has to sometimes use strong language to get them to stop.
Trump, never one to miss a moment, though, leaned into the remark when a reporter continued asking him the same question.
Asked if Trump regarded his NATO allies as his children, he grinned. Trump then proceeded by saying,He likes me [] Daddy, youre my daddy. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio could be seen cracking up while standing next to Trump, seemingly amused by the reporter’s question.
