‘South Park’ co-creator Trey Parker responded to the White House with sarcasm after they went off over the show’s latest episode roasting Donald Trump. The season 27 premiere, released July 23, portrayed Trump as overly sensitive, among other things! The White House strongly objected to the President’s depiction. They called the show irrelevant and claimed it won’t stop Trump’s “hot streak.”

Donald Trump Gets Roasted During The Season 27 Premiere

‘South Park’ did hold back in its July 23 premiere, titled ‘Sermon on the Mount.’ Trump was the main focus, portrayed as a bullying yet sensitive figure with a “teeny tiny” manhood, per Rolling Stone. The episode had him suing the town of South Park for $5 billion after residents protested Jesus showing up at their school. In one scene, Jesus said:

“I didn’t want to come back and be at the school, but I had to as part of a lawsuit and the agreement… You guys saw what happened to CBS? You really want to end up like Colbert?”

‘South Park’ was throwing shade at Paramount’s $16 million settlement with Trump, with Jesus warning, “Trump has the power to sue and take bribes and can do anything to anyone.” For context, Trump had previously sued Paramount, claiming a ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris had been deceptively edited to favor Harris and tarnish his run in the 2024 election. But the wildest moment? A fake PSA at the end of the episode, showing a deepfake Trump stumbling naked through a desert, with a voiceover saying, “Trump: His penis is teeny tiny, but his love for us is large.”

White House Throws Shade at South Park’s Trump Takedown

The White House issued a statement after ‘South Park’ put Trump on blast. TWH spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Variety, “The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end – for years they have come after ‘South Park’ for what they labeled as ‘offense’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show.”

They didn’t stop there. Additionally, they claimed the show hasn’t been relevant for over two decades, “and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.” They even bragged:

“President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”

However, ‘South Park’ has been serving satire for decades, and Parker and Stone ain’t new to shading politicians and celebrities. Parker, in particular, took the White House’s shade in stride and had the internet cackling with his short but sweet response.

Trey Parker Responds At Comic-Con

At San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, Trey Parker and fellow creator Matt Stone hit the stage for a Comedy Central panel, and the moderator, Josh Horowitz, asked about the White House’s response. Parker kept his answer short and sweet with a sarcastic, “We’re terribly sorry,” per Yahoo News. Furthermore, Stone joked that the rest of season 27 would have “no politics” and be free of “that sh*t.” Parker revealed that the episode came together in just three days before airing, admitting, “We were like, ‘I don’t know if people are going to like this.'” Parker and Stone’s bold response raised eyebrows, showing they won’t back down, even when roasting the president!
