Dr. Anthony Fauci Warns That The Omicron Variant Is Much Stronger And Appears To Be “Overtaking All Other Variants Including Delta”

Roommates, during a recent interview, Dr. Anthony Fauci provided a grim update regarding the latest Omicron variant of the coronavirus. Dr. Fauci also stated that not only is Omicron stronger, but it also appears to be “overtaking all other variants including Delta” while moving two and three times as fast.

Dr. Anthony Fauci was very straightforward when asked about the rising Omicron variant of the coronavirus, saying that the latest highly contagious strain is “something to be reckoned with” and that “It is really rapidly spreading literally throughout the world and certainly in our own country.” He quickly added that Omicron is proving to be more contagious and deadly than previous variants.

Additionally, Dr. Anthony Fauci offered his recommendations for the busy upcoming travel this holiday season:

“If you are vaccinated and boosted and are prudent when you travel, when you’re in an airport to be wearing a mask all the time, you have to be wearing a mask on a plane. Do not do things like go to gatherings where there are people who you do not know what their vaccination status is.

Nothing is 100% risk-free, but I think if you do the things that I just mentioned, you’d actually mitigate that risk enough to feel comfortable about being able to enjoy the holiday.”

As we previously reported, the Omicron variant has caused multiple cities and states to shut down activities and businesses due to its rapid spreading—California and New York were among the first to do so.
