Dr. Dre is reportedly working on #Eminem’s new album. According to The Defiant Ones director Allen Hughes, Dre has been in the lab working on Slim Shady’s upcoming 9th studio album.
“Dre still records,” said Hughes, speaking to Uproxx. “People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music.”
The Defiant Ones is a four-part docuseries based on the relationship between Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, which aired Sunday night (July 9) on HBO.
Eminem has been under the radar for the past few years, but in recent weeks he has resurfaced. Recently he wished 50 Cent a Happy Birthday via social media.
