Dr. Umar is setting the record straight after folks dragged him online over claims from a Philadelphia woman who said she was his biological daughter.

Dr. Umar Claims He’s Been In Contact With His Alleged Daughter Prior To Her Viral Videos
ICYMI, a woman named Nisa went viral after accusing Dr. Umar of never trying to be in her life while continuing to portray a false image on social media. In response, Umar hit Instagram with a few videos, calling her claims “cap.” Now, he’s doubling down, saying Nisa’s viral TikTok posts are nothing but a “money grab.”
In a lengthy IG caption, Umar claimed he’s been in contact with Nisa for years. He also said he’s tried linking up with her face-to-face, but she’s allegedly never followed through.
“Each and every time that I have heard from my child I’ve asked to see and spend time with her. She has never accepted my requests for a meeting in all of these years. As soon as I mentioned wanting to see her the conversation drops immediately until she decides to bless me with another random text message the following year. I often felt that I was being intentionally played with but continued to press for the opportunity to meet her.”
His Alleged Daughter Denies Clout Chasing
Nisa returned to social media with more videos, shutting down claims that she’s clout-chasing off Dr. Umar’s name. She made it clear she’s been poppin’ on social media for a minute and even had videos blow up before she spilled tea about her pops. “It’s always, ‘Oh, you want clout. You bashing your dad. You doing this, you doing that.’ But y’all don’t know s**t,” she said during a recent livestream.
“You got me on your platform you’re gonna have to pay me. A lot of people hitting me up for interviews, y’all gonna have to come up off them pockets, because I’m not doing s**t for free,” she explained.
But she did say if she hops on anyone’s platform to talk about her drama with her dad, she’s expecting a bag. She added that her “range” is between “$3,500 to $10K.”
Here’s What Previously Went Down Between Umar & Nisa
Nisa’s first set of TikTok videos started blowing up after she said she reached out to Umar to connect with a woman who she believes could be her sister. She also mentioned that she never intended on bashing him, but she is tired of him lying on social media.
“He has not been in my life. Again, I’m not making this video to bash him. I’m making this video to state facts. You can’t get on Instagram and social media and portray to be an activist and talk about how Black kings need to be with Black women, but you’re not even in your Black daughter’s [life].”
Umar then clapped back, saying he was open to talking to her and her mom about everything, but warned he might bring some receipts if things went sideways.
“Get daughter smurf, momma smurf, and then poppa smurf, and we gonna have a nice conversation in front of the world. Let’s get to the bottom of this, and I’m gonna bring white man paperwork. So baby smurf, please get momma smurf, and poppa smurf is gonna pull up,” Umar responded.
