Looks like Summer Sixteen has gotten a little bit colder for a few fans who were expecting to meet Drake while he was on tour. Word on the street is Drake cancelled all meet and greets ahead of his ‘Summer Sixteen’ tour.
People reported that there were whispers from an industry source about the Toronto native canceling his meet and greets due to scheduling reasons. A fan confirmed the news with a tweet and a screenshot attached to of an email from Ticket Master.
The email reads, “Unfortunately, due to scheduling concerns, we are unable to offer the Meet and greet portion of your package.” Then to add insult to injury, the email further says that Tickmaster will only refund $300 for the meet and greet packages that are originally sold for up to $1000!

The VIP Packages included front row seating, first dibs on special merchandise, and of course the chance to meet Future and Drake.
With the recent spike in violence against public figures, we wonder if that had anything to do with it also. Drake and Bieber are two of the latest artists to cancel meet and greets. Drake’s tour is scheduled to kick off next month in Austin, TX.
