The 6-Year-Old Is Flexing His Rap Skills As Drake Plans To Step Back “For A Little Bit”

Adonis’ brand-new music video emerges on the heels of Drake dropping For All the Dogs. As The Shade Room reported, the album premiered on Oct. 6, and — shortly after — Drake announced his plans to go on a brief hiatus.

The “Rich Flex” rapper shared the news during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Table for One series, and he specifically declared, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit.”

He noted that he wanted to step back to handle some health-related matters before referencing recent gastrointestinal issues.

“I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach. … I need to focus on my health, and I need to get right. And I’m gonna do that.”

While he didn’t provide concrete details, Drake acknowledged wanting to “lock the door on the studio” for “maybe a year or something.”

“I need to get right. I have a lot of things that I would love to focus on, so Imma lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is — maybe a year or something, maybe a little longer.”

Following Drake’s announcement, it looks like Adonis is stepping up to the plate and honing his own rap skills, as evidenced by a recent social media clip.
