Roommates, sadly it has been confirmed that Drakeo The Ruler has passed away from his injuries after being stabbed while performing at a music festival in Los Angeles. As we previously reported, Drakeo The Ruler was stabbed and rushed to the hospital where he was in critical condition—however, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
While performing at the Once Upon A Time music festival in Los Angeles that was headlined by Snoop Dogg, local rapper Drakeo The Ruler has tragically passed away due to a stabbing. The all-day event was held over the weekend at L.A.’s Exposition Park featuring dozens of performers.
According to reports, Drakeo was backstage around 8:30 PM when witnesses say that a physical altercation occurred that resulted in Drakeo being stabbed—there are currently unconfirmed reports that he was stabbed in the neck, however authorities have not released any further information about the incident at this time.
After he was stabbed, reportedly LAPD, California Highway Patrol and the fire department responded arrived at the scene and promptly rushed Drakeo The Ruler to the hospital, but sadly it was too late and he died.
Following the news of his death, some of hip hop’s biggest stars sent their condolences to his loved ones via social media. Drake, Tory Lanez and Snoop Dogg all posted their thoughts about his death.
