TMZ spotted Draya Michele and Jalen Green in West Hollywood, California taking a stroll with their newborn daughter. As previously reported by The Shade Room, the parents welcomed their baby girl on Mother’s Day (May 12).
While speaking with the outlet, the pair expressed that they are completely unfazed by the continued negative comments about their 17-year age gap. For context, Draya is 39-years-old, while the Houston Rockets basketball player is 22-years-old.
When asked about public opinions regarding their relationship, Draya mentioned that they both try to avoid the internet. However Jalen responded by saying, “We also don’t care.”
Draya continued, expressing her confusion about why her relationship with Jalen would be a concern to anyone.
“I don’t know what people’s problem is. Two adults being in love. I don’t know why that would rub people the wrong way, it’s kinda weird. Love is love at the end day,” Draya stated.

On Father’s Day, (June 16), the ‘Basketball Wives’ alum uploaded a photo on Instagram of her recent baby bump. In the picture, Draya’s hand is placed on her stomach, while her fingers make half of a heart. Jalen’s hand is also featured in the photo, completing Draya’s heart. Draya simply captioned the flick, ‘Happy Father’s Day.’
