Dylan Sprouse, 30, is living a different kind of sweet life–he’s now a married man! The former Disney Channel star wed his longtime girlfriend, Barbara Palvin, 29, in a private ceremony.
The pair exchanged vows on July 15 in Hungary, per reports by Vogue and PEOPLE. Barbara is a native of the European country. Their wedding venue, Harlekin Birtok, is owned by Palvin’s parents, who also lease it as an event space.

Dylan Sprouse and his new wife plan to celebrate with a second wedding in California come this fall. And though their Hungary wedding was meant to be “intimate,” Barbara told Vogue they ended up with 115 guests.
“…there are a lot of people we care about, and we wanted them all to be there,” Mrs. Sprouse said.

The wedding was planned by Barbara’s experienced sister, Anita Palvin, and the bride-to-be. Dylan’s only job per the women, he says, was “show up and say the right name.” A short re-cap video published by Vogue shows footage from the sunny wedding day.
The clip opens with Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin walking out of the same church Palvin’s parents reportedly married 34 years ago. Their guests showered the married couple with white rose petals as they smiled and stared at each other. The clip takes viewers through the wedding prep, including the bride and groom’s glam.
Barbara wore three dresses throughout her celebration–one for the ceremony, another for the reception, and a red one after midnight, which honors a Hungarian tradition called menyecske ruha. She paired each look with custom Jimmy Choo shoes.
It also shows interactions between the bridesmaids and groomsmen within their parties and with each other. And yes, his twin brother and Disney co-star Cole Sprouse, was his best man.
Viewers see Barbara walking down the aisle as guests stand, the ring exchanges, and the couple sharing a kiss. Then comes all the party footage–the couple and guests dancing, laughing, and cutting the wedding cake.
As for the couple, walking down the aisle and their first dance were the only instances that shook and stressed their nerves, respectively. However, once both were completed, Sprouse says they played wedding games, took shots, and “just enjoyed the great food and live music,” Hungarian included. Per reports, Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin met about six years ago. Dylan checked Palvin at an event when she cut him in line, but the critiques quickly turned into “a jokey, flirty back-and-forth,” per Vogue. They did not exchange phone numbers, but Sprouse searched for her on social media and took his shot via social media.
Palvin paid him dust, instead letting six months fly by before responding to his DM. Within three months of replying, she was on a plane to China to see Dylan Sprouse on set. They had their first date there and, by January 2019, were cohabitating in New York City.
According to Vogue, Dylan proposed in September while camping with friends.
“It was very romantic,” Barbara said of the area Dylan proposed at. “I was suspicious and thought he might pop the question because he packed a shirt that was too nice for camping.”
There’s no public date for wedding number two, but the married couple looks forward to returning home to their pets and resting. Palvin says being called Mrs. Sprouse will take her a minute to get used to. Meanwhile, Dylan has been manifesting their new status for the last three years, Palvin says, by calling her his wife.
