Authorities arrested and charged the 11-year-old in connection with the death of his 5-year-old brother, Elias Reliford, at their Centennial home. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest took place on March 11. And, the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office has since filed charges, including first-degree murder, along with an aggravated juvenile offender sentence enhancer. Additionally, the child is currently being held at the Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Center.

Furthermore, neighbors say the two brothers were nearly inseparable, often seen together knocking on doors, asking for snacks, and interacting with people in their neighborhood.
