We are approximately two weeks away from the season two premiere of Fox’s hit scripted series Empire. At the end of the first season we were all left with our faces on the floor and now the Lyons are back with more drama!
The start of season two picks up three months following Lucious Lyons arrest and all of our favorites are still in the fight to take control of Empire. All while dealing with the drama, our favorite artists are bring the new music for our enjoyment.
Recently Columbia Records released two new original songs from this upcoming soundtrack for the second season. On the first song Hakeem (Breyshere “Yazz” Grey) and Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollet) team up for another hit entitled “Ain’t About The Money.”
The next single “No Doubt About It” written by Ne-Yo, is performed by Jamal and features Pitbull. Timbaland continues to serve as the executive producer for the shows original music and Ne-Yo joins the team as he lends his writing skills for more tracks on the album.
Empire returns to Fox on September 23rd at 9pm.
