Safaree and Erica Mena let their love be known in whatever way they can, but after they uploaded a video dancing with their baby, girl, the comments just didn’t sit right with Mrs. Samuels!
Erica called out the ladies who constantly call her husband “corny, and further explains that Safaree is carefree, comfortable in his own skin, and doing anything he can for his wife and child. Now, we know that Safaree has a very big personality, which Erica says she adores, but apparently his personality has rubbed some fans the wrong way.
“I find it interesting that when a man is comfortable with being himself, loves life, makes the best out of things, isn’t fake hard, isn’t calling queens out of their name–when a man is truly confident in himself and enjoys life and making the best out of things, y’all call that corny,” Erica says.
She continues and addresses women who would rather be with men who don’t embrace who they are truly are, who “act tough”, and don’t really love themselves. Erica and Safaree will make one year of marriage this September, and she says her “corny” man has taught her so much about love, and living life to the fullest.
“Love is a beautiful thing and I really enjoy my husband,” she says. “My husband has taught me how to just take a deep breathe and chill and enjoy things and make light out of things. It bothers me because instead of acknowledging the fact that my man loves to enjoy living his life, thats corny to y’all.”
“It’s really sad because it’s 2020 and a lot of y’all women big up men who act tough rather than a man who does everything in his power to make his wife happy.”
