Earlier this week on #TheTalk, rapper #Eve shared a story about when she first met fellow femecee #LilKim. According to her it was kind of awkward!
“I would run up to her and be like, ‘Oh my god, Kim! Hey girl! I love you so much and I just got signed and can you please be on my album?’ and she’d just look at me like, ‘Uh huh, yeah okay,’” the rapper recalled. “Finally I was like, okay, ‘I should stop’ and I don’t think it’s that she hated me. I think I was so over-excited to see her.”
Eve went on to explain that years later the two actually bonded and became friends! “I have to say, one day we sat across from each other years later at a dinner and we bonded over our dogs. We bonded over other things. And I love Kim so much now to this day…and she loves me back.” All of this ended on a high note for the talk show host, however, Kim didn’t exactly remember things going down this way and was disappointed with the discussion.
“Why do you girls always do this to me? Trying to make me out to be the bad guy?” Kim tweeted. “I don’t remember it that way at all. [Eve] is my girl that’s my baby y’all. We are not fighting. We are real friends.We can have this debate and still cuddle on the couch and watch a movie 2gether.”
Since the ladies are friends, Kim certainly didn’t take offense and joked that they might be sipping on something stronger than tea on the show! She said, “Oooohhh I can’t wait to have this debate on your show. What is really in those cups that ya’ll be drinking?”
