Earlier this week, Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill confirmed that they have separated and decided to get a divorce after two years of marriage. Before the now-former couple spoke out about the situation, a video of Mike having a good time raised some concerns as a woman was seen with her arms wrapped around the lower half of his body as she lifted her body up. A source with information about what was happening in the video has since spoken out.
The source has confirmed to The Shade Room that the moment captured on camera was “innocent fun,” and that they didn’t think the moment would be turned into something that it wasn’t. The source proceeded to share that the woman in the clip is a good friend of Mike’s.
She “is a WELL KNOWN, nationally renowned pole instructor who was just doing a core demonstration in a restaurant.”
The source also shared that the timing of the whole situation was bad, but “there was absolutely nothing salacious about it.”

The woman from the video is actually Nicole Williams, who is not only a pole instructor, but she has also worked with a number of celebrities as well.

As previously reported, Mike and Cynthia released a joint statement confirming their split. They said,
“LOVE is a beautiful thing. While we both will always have love for one another, we have decided to go our separate ways. No one is to blame, and we are grateful that we remain good friends.

In a separate statement to People, Mike also said,
“I love Cynthia and will always love her because she is a phenomenal woman and a beautiful person. Honestly, we’ve been thinking about going our separate ways for the last few months, so it was good for us to have that time to process it all privately and I can smile knowing she’ll always be there for me as I will be there for her.”
Mike and Cynthia tied the knot back in 2020. Their proposal and wedding experience were later shared with viewers on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
