Since it was officially announced that The Wendy Williams Show would be coming to an end after 13 seasons, people have been wanting to know what’s next for the veteran.
According to Radar Online, Wendy Williams has an “open invitation” to join ‘The View’ as a guest host, but a source exclusively told The Shade Room that is not true. “The buzz within ABC is Wendy could well be joining The View,” a source told Radar Online.
The source also mentions that the open invitation would allow Wendy to make her first TV appearance since July of 2021, and she could possibly join the show on a “recurring basis,” the report states. “It would be a chemistry test for Wendy with Whoopi [Goldberg] and the ladies,” the source inside ABC said. But The Shade Room was exclusively told that was not true.

A source tells us, “No that is not true,” when asked if Wendy would be joining ‘The View.’ The source also added, “But you never know what the future holds as Wendy has received multiple offers.”
As far as Wendy having an offer to guest host, “Not to my knowledge,” the source stated.
Wendy recently did an interview with Good Morning America and said to give her “three months” to make a comeback. “There are private things that I have to deal with and then I’ll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing.”
