Fabolous Claps Back At Online Commenters Who Criticized His Recent Post About Former City High Member Claudette Ortiz—“People Try To Find The Negative In Everything”

Roommates, as we know by now, social media never hesitates to give opinions on any and everything involving celebrities—and Fabolous had to learn this the hard way courtesy of a recent post he made on Instagram. While attempting to celebrate the beauty of former City High member Claudette Ortiz, Fabolous became the subject of intense online criticism and he recently slammed those who had a problem with his gesture.

Earlier this week, Fabolous took to his Instagram stories and posted various photos of Claudette Ortiz, highlighting that he wishes the natural beauty from back in the day would come back in style—in comparison to the current trend of manufactured beauty standards.

However, many took issue with his post because of his relationship with Emily B, who he has been with for over two decades and shares three children with. Not letting the harsh comments slide, he headed to Twitter to get some things off his chest.

Fabolous tweeted the following in response:

“Everybody be talking that “Give people they flowers while they alive” Then when you do it, they make it a issue. A Appreciation Post ain’t meant to be nothing but…FLOWERS. People try to find the negative in everything. Even in SHOWING LOVE…”

Meanwhile in other Fabolous news, he and Emily are now officially grandparents, after Emily’s daughter Taina finally gave birth to a baby boy with her long-time boyfriend G Herbo.
