Faith Evans is facing a domestic violence charge after she was arrested earlier this week for allegedly putting the paws on her hubby #StevieJ at their Los Angeles area home.
According to TMZ, Faith was arrested after cops were called to their home where Faith and Stevie allegedly got into a heated argument, which at some point, reportedly turned violent.
When officers arrived at their home, cops noticed visible marks and scratches on Stevie’s face but the issue that triggered the argument remains unknown.
Due to the physical evidence of an assault, cops arrested Faith Evans and booked her for felony domestic violence. She reportedly bonded out later that day
Though they try to seem like a picture perfect couple, this arrest comes nearly a year after Faith and Stevie tried to downplay rumors that their marriage was in trouble. TMZ caught up with them leaving the Essence Festival in New Orleans where one of their employees asked the couple if there was trouble in paradise after Stevie and Faith unfollowed each other on social media.
Stevie and Faith have not publicly commented on the arrest. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
