As the beloved #NipseyHussle is being laid to rest today, fans across the globe will be tuning in to enjoy celebrate his life at the #LosAngeles #StaplesCenter.
For those who couldn’t make the service in person, Nipsey’s gravesite is allowing people to pay their respects by sending flowers.
According to @blast, Nipsey is scheduled to be buried today after his memorial. Officials at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood Hills said that fans can send flowers and flowers only to Nipsey through the cemetery’s flower shop.
To make things even more special, fans can remember Nipsey with bouquets of blue roses, among other options. The cemetery made it clear that items such as gifts, mementos, photos and CD’s will not be allowed and will be collected by cemetery employees at the end of every night.
The cemetery is technically open to the public, but it’s currently unknown if Nipsey’s family will make his gravesite known, or keep the information private. So fans who want to visit Nipsey’s final resting place will have to hang tight until his family reveals that information.
Nipsey will be buried among the Hollywood elite in his final resting place. Other celebrities laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood Hills cemetery include Paul Walker, Lou Rawls, Michael Clarke Duncan and Carrie Fisher.
Fans have been honoring Nipsey in many ways since is tragic and untimely passing, including listening to his music.
As we previously reported, Nipsey’s grammy-nominated album “Victory Lap” has re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 2.
In addition to the album’s success, Nipsey’s music sales have reportedly increased 2,776 percent, according to Billboard.
Before his passing, Nipsey secured masters to all of his music, making this increase in sales extremely beneficial to his family.
