Kerry Washington is fed up with people talking about her marriage when she hasn’t even addressed it! Back in December, rumors surfaced that the couple were getting a divorce, but now, the Scandal star has speaks on what’s been really going on.
Washington went to a conference for SXSW that discusses how social media is a major platform for most celebrities nowadays and she says,”Social media has actually been great for [other celebrities’] relationships with the weeklies or the gossip sites because people say things and they say, ‘That’s not true! Just so you know, that’s BS!’ I say ‘BS’ because it’s Sunday. So I’m thinking in some ways, it’s been great because people are able to maintain their voice.”
As far as her relationship goes, “If I don’t talk about my personal life, it means I don’t talk about my personal life,” she continued.
“That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t refute them, because I don’t talk about my personal life.”
Well, there you have it folks. Just because Kerry is practicing bad marriage practices on television doesn’t mean it is going to get carried over into her real life, and if it does, we’ll never know.
