Authorities say a 53-year-old woman beat her elderly mother to death after she discovered she was left out of her will.
#GabrielaPerero was arrested Friday in #BrowardCounty on suspicion of premeditated murder and aggravated battery on a person 65 years or older, Fox News reports. How are you going to get the money now, sis?
She allegedly confessed to police about the beating too, saying she pushed her mother down, “grabbed her and tore the skin off her arm.” Perero reportedly became enraged at the fact that her siblings received an inheritance and she didn’t, despite having taken care of her ailing mother. Her mother briefly regained a pulse but was ultimately pronounced dead at a hospital.
Perero was denied bond and is currently awaiting trial. I think it’s safe to say she let her emotions get the best of her.
