Florida Woman Reportedly Bites Off Boyfriend’s Thumb During Argument, Leaves It On The Floor

Whew chile, Florida strikes again! When it comes to news that is truly bazaar, the state of Florida consistently manages to deliver. The latest strange occurrence in the Sunshine State involves a woman who got into an argument so heated with her man that she um, bit something off.

As reported by @Newsweek, 39-year-old Yesenia Casiano from Lutz, Florida, and her boyfriend got into an altercation that resulted in Casiano biting off a large portion of the victim’s thumb—leaving it lying on the floor. In addition to “willfully and intentionally” biting the victim’s thumb, Casiano is also accused of physically attacking the father of one of her children with closed fists and kicking him in the stomach.

According to local media outlets, the fight between the couple happened in front of several children. Those children actually pointed out the victim’s thumb to police who arrived the scene. The thumb was said to be found in the living room of the couple’s home.

Casiano was charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm, which is considered a second-degree felony. If convicted, she could face up to 15 years in prison or 15 years of probation, and up to $10,000 in fines.

At press time, there is no word on if doctors were able to stitch the piece of the victim’s thumb back on.
