Forever 21 Sued Over N.W.A. Inspired Collection !!

Lord ever since Straight Outta Compton came out its like everyone wants to be down with the West Side now! Welp it didn’t take long for Forever 21 to jump on the bandwagon but unfortunately they are faces legal woes because of it!

Forever 21 decided to release a women’s sweater with Ice Cube’s face in the Oakland Raiders logo and a men’s T-shirt with the same design but the photographer who took the original pic isn’t here for it at all!

According to TMZ, photographer Patrick Hoelck says the infamous picture features Ice Cube with a mean mug and Hoelck claims he did not give Forever 21 permission to use it.

Hoelck sent both Forever 21 and Control, another clothing company who has been making similar shirts, a letter in June demanding them to stop selling the shirts. Since neither of them took his letter seriously, he has decided to take the matters in front of a judge! If things go his way, Patrick Hoelck may be looking at a nice payout.

Forever 21 had initially released  N.W.A-inspired clothing back in 2013 but decided to scrap the collection after receiving heavy criticism over it. A men’s version of the T-shirt is still up on the Forever 21 website, but is sold out.

Let’s chat below, is Forever 21 wrong for using Hoelck’s pictures?
