A massive search was underway Sunday for the pro wrestler. One official working with the Los Angeles Fire Department told reporters officials believe Gaspard “did submerge.”

During the rescue efforts, it was reported that another big wave crashed down on Gaspard, and that was the last time he was seen. Divers were sent to search the area while helicopters assisted from above.

Gaspard was at the beach on Sunday with his wife and their son. Outside of pro wrestling, Gaspard made headlines in 2016 when he heroically stopped an armed robbery in Florida.

Our prayers go out to Gaspard and his family as authorities continue to search for him at this time. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
