Roommates, earlier this week we reported on WWE star Shad Gaspard missing after he went swimming in Venice Beach.
We’re sad to report that a body matching his description was found and identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner.
According to TMZ, the body was found around 1:30 AM this morning near the Venice Pier and called in.
As reported, Shad went swimming with his 10-year-old son Aryeh, and heroically told the lifeguards to focus on getting his child to safety first. When the lifeguards came back for Shad, he’d unfortunately lost his fight to the current and was pronounced missing from that point.
We send our deepest condolences to all those who are survived by Shad. May he rest in peace.
