It’s a shady day on the internet as Laura Ingraham claims her spot in the hot seat after making some remarks about LeBron James –remarks that aren’t sitting well with many.
Laura addressed Bron Bron’s commentary about Donald Trump during an episode of #Uninterrupted:
“The No. 1 job in America, the appointed person, is someone who doesnt understand the people and really dont give a f*** about the people.
And this time right now, with the president of the United States, its at a bad time. And while we cannot change what comes out of that mans mouth, we can continue to alert the people that watch us, that listen to us, as this is not the way.
Its not even a surprise when he says something. Its not even a surprise. Its, like, laughable. Its like its laughable, and its scary.”
#KevinDurant chimed in on the conversation saying:
“When were talking about leadership and whats going on in our country, its all about leadership. And I learned that playing basketball. I learned a lot of life skills from playing basketball. You need to empower people, you need to encourage people. And thats what builds a great team. And I feel like our team as a country is not ran by a great coach.”
Their statements clearly ruffled some feathers at #FOXNews because this #Laura went on air carrying on about athletes place–or lack thereof in political opinion. She proceeded to tell them to, “shut up and dribble.”
“Must they run their mouths like that,” she asks. “this is what happens when you attempt to leave high school a year early to join the NBA. And it’s always unwise to seek political advice from someone who gets paid $100M a year to bounce a ball…you’re great players, but no one voted for you. Millions elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political commentary to yourself; or as someone once said, ‘shut up and dribble.'”
