Bricksquaaaad, get in here!! It’s been a long 3 years since our boy Gucci Mane got locked up. If you remember, he was arrested and pleaded guilty to gun possession by a felon, but wasn’t actually convicted until May 2014. The rapper was ultimately sentenced to 39 months behind barz, but he’s coming home a lot sooner than we thought!
Gucci original release date was scheduled for March 2017, but according to Vibe, the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute database has Gucci’s release date listed as September 20th, 2016!
Rumors began circulating last year that he would be coming home March 2016, but they were dissolved. But it looks like this rumor may be true as it was tweeted that a tour may be coming soon as well!!

It’s crazy to think it’s been almost 2 years already, because Gucci La Flare is still spitting barz from behind bars! He’s released music since his imprisonment, so I can only imagine the fire he’s got for us upon basking in his freedom!
